Open source ERP

Introducing a free and open-source alternative to Salesforce, Oracle ERP, and others. Join us to influence development!

Open source ERP

This is a very exciting time!
We've been awarded $5000 in credits from AWS to help with infrastructure costs while building Savantly Nexus, a completely free and open-source ERP (Apache 2.0 License).

Savantly Nexus is a cost-effective alternative to Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Yext, DevHub, and many other ERPs and CRMs.
It's a modular platform that allows for extension by "modules" that can enhance the core entities or provide new entities and functionality.

Our current use-case is for multi-brand and multi-site data administration, but we're also creating other modules such as a CMS that uses JSON schema to define new content types.

There are a few main components that make-up Savantly Nexus ERP:

Nexus Command

This is the core business data management application.
You can manage data for any business object, idea, or data in other systems.
Custom rules and events can be applied to the business objects and properties.
Your unique business processes can be modeled and extend the core system without modification to the core.

Built on Apache Causeway, we have enterprise ready features such as:
- Granular permissions, down to the property level on an entity
- Event Driven Design, so downstream processes and systems can be automated
- Full auditing of commands and queries

Website Manager UI

Website Manager

An interesting feature for the CMS management, is that you'll be able to delegate the editing of specific "blocks" of content to external users.
For example, this allows a "franchise operator" to delegate to a "franchise owner" for their local content on the corporate site.
Or a marketing agency can delegate certain content editing to subcontracted agencies.

Nexus Content Editor

This web application provides users a way to edit content "blocks" and "block types" that are consumed by your web sites or other content delivery platforms like social media.

Currently we're working on the designs for this application, but it will be similar to a "Contentful" editing experience.
Non-technical folks will be able to create the "block types" that define the shape of the data for the "block" of content.

Since the content editing is delegated through hierarchical permissions, a software development agency might use this to subcontract their marketing projects (a use-case for Savantly)
Content managers only see the "blocks" of content they have permission for.

Nexus Serverless Data Analytics Tools

This will provide an easy integration between Nexus Command and custom data tools.
More will be revealed...

Nexus Bot

A conversational chat bot that's "programmed" using natural language.
It reads the business information you provide (via Nexus Command, your FAQs, web pages, docs, etc...)
It can act an automated customer service agent through your company website, or automate certain tasks such as collecting and sending data to another tool.
More exciting stuff to be revealed...
